(Mozzarella di Buffalo) is made from the milk of domestic water buffalo. It is higher in calcium, higher in protein & lower in cholesterol than cows milk.

It is a fresh, soft & elastic textured cheese which goes well as a salad with tomatoes, basil & extra virgin olive oil (CAPRESE) or with antipasto dishes, pastas, pizzas, vegetables & side orders.

It is manufactured under strict regulations from Rome in Lazio to Paestum in Campania and a production area near Foggia in Puglia. It is also produced in many other countries around the world.
